I just bought a 2007 4-door sedan, and I'm wanting to upgrade the stereo. (I'd like one that is satellite ready, iPod integrated, has multiple cd availability, and displays radio and song information). I am absolutely lost. I have no experience with auto audio electronics, and am really overwhelmed by all of the choices that I know nothing about. How does an aftermarket stereo not look horrible with the dash? Where should I look? Where should I look to get it installed? My budget will allow for approx 350.00 in products without installation.

Does anyone have any suggestions or first-hand experience that they're willing to share?

i'd like to replace mine, but the only way i would do it is to make sure there is no large gaps of nothingness. maybe get a pioneer head unit that at least plays mp3's and then a nav unit, that will be good for space issues. if you buy mazda unit, you'll be blowing that kinda money anyways.
