tranny problem?
I have an 04 Mazda 3 with around 75,000 miles. It is a manual 5 speed. In the last 2 months or so it has started this strange noise. When I am in 5th gear, the engine sounds like it is revving up and the car acts like it wants to go into a higher gear (even though there obviously isn't one). It only does this in 5th gear. Any ideas on what it might be? Thanks
