ok, so i'm in the process of trying to get the M3H Grand Touring and have a question if any of you here have a towing hitch on yours? i'm looking at towing a 4x6 trailer with motorcycles...

any input and pics are welcomed!!!



ps. dealer said it's doable, just that I would have to go to a place that specializes in installing such equipment

the weight will be about 1050 lbs, that is for the trailer and 2 bikes...

how heavy was the UHaul?

 

Mazda says don't tow anything with a Speed. Same advice for a 3, probably. The dealer will tell you anything to get your signature on a deal.

 

It's not a tow vehicle. Buy a tow vehicle or get the hitch and put a bicycle rack in it. Please don't put your life (or anyone else's) at risk by towing with something that is not made for towing.

 

I have a Hidden Hitch installed, and it's just that, almost completely hidden. But...I would NOT recommend towing 1050 lbs. with a 3.
