My wife had an accident in our 3. Here are a few pictures. Insurance adjuster won't get to looking at it until tomorrow or Tuesday. It's a 3i Sport. Automatic with alloy wheels. About 65k miles. Air bag deployed. So...what's your guess, totaled or not?







It's been a great car and definitely barely broken in. We've taken several trips in this car and were looking forward to many more. We'd be sad to see it go.

 

How many air bags went pop?

 

Just the driver side one, in the steering wheel.

 

I would think its a write-off

 

Well, the body shop says damages are already up to $8200 and he expects it would go higher once he gets it apart. Since the car is only worth $10,500, it will definitely be totaled. Just waiting for the insurance company to get back to us with a check now, then we'll be car shopping.
