torque for transmission mount?
hello, i have a 2008 mazda3i manual with 130,000 and wanting to change the transmission mount but cannot find what is the torque spec.
what is the transmission mount torque for the one under the battery? the four side screw and the one in the center. http://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo....sn=340&jsn=340Another question: the torque for the motor mount (under the car). Some say 54-66 ft-lb for the 2 bolts for the mount and the 3 bolts for the bracket that mounts to the transmission are 70-85 ft-lb. is this right? thank you |
There are two different centre bolts used by Mazda, there may be a "8" or "10" on the bolt head.
"8" 83-113nm "10" 130-152nm The four corner bolts are 44-61nm |
thank you for the info

The bracket that bolts to the gearbox is 65-75nm
The bolts thru the actual mount can varry between cars, refer to picture. Tightening torque A type: 72.6—90.9 N·m {7.5—9.2 kgf·m, 53.6—67.0 ft·lbf} B type: 104.2—132.6 N·m {10.7—13.5 kgf·m, 76.9—97.8 ft·lbf} |
