Strut bar support
I'm working some over time hours and starting to get dirty with my mazda 3 (with the extra money) I'm looking at the project as different parts, for example ..first thing on the list is the suspension and then drive train...then some engine mods.
But the question i have, Now that i;m starting on the suspension I was thinking about starting small with cork sport front and back strut bars. However I'm just wondering if anybody ele has any know how about strut bars.......Are they worth the investment, do they really improve the handling that well? Suspension (srings and struts) are next. But I just would like to know if the strut bars are worth the investment??????

Strut bars are definitely worth the investment. It is a good, inexpensive way (compared to coilover-damper suspension) to improve handling a lot. I am using Mazdaspeed's front strut. I'll probably pick up an SRMotorsports rear strut. I also have Eibach's anti-roll swaybar kit.
If I were to do it, I'd do it in this order
Springs/struts
Sway bars
Strut tower brace
I don't think that the strut tower brace would really yield you much with the stock suspension as the loads would be transmitted and damped by the suspension. Once you make the suspension more stiff and resistant to sway, those loads are going to be increased into the body structure, so then a brace will yield some improvement.
FYI...It is possible to make your car too stiff.

the only thing is that springs and struts are the most expensive out of all of them...personally...i dont feel like scrapping brand new springs and struts to put on aftermarket ones. id go in this order because i am 19...a full time college student...and working at a deli.... strut tower bars, sways, springs/struts.
If you choose a swaybar that is too thick in diameter, you run the risk of wheel hopping if u hit a bump or somethin in the middle of the turn....the car will be so stiff that ur whole back end just bumps over.
