Hi element, and welcome to the forums!
I have the Vibrant front strut bar, which I bought from a company on eBay but they are availableon other websites too.
I shopped around and got the best price I could. It's a very nice piece of hardware and not terribly expensive either.I think mine was $65+/- shipped.
Here's what it looks like installed.
My only issue was the hood insulation.Rather than cut it out to fit (one option,) I simply removed it entirely. No more clearance problems.

Yes, but only the center section has to come out.You can even just loosen one side if your not worried about shorting it outagainst the battery. I always just remove it entirely. 2-8mm socket head cap screws and locking 14mm nuts. The strut tower plates stay on.

thats good to know. and those strut braces are pretty cheap too. im sure i could get one for under $75

I doubt it. I've heard (heard, mind you) that the sedan has a little more room under the hood. It's still going to be a close fit though.
