SPEED3 Owners thread
having had a 2006 mazda 3 4 door that was totalled in an accident, I am hoping that the cluth on the MS3 is sportier and a little bit more firm.
got it today, and love it, i think the clutch is nice, and 3rd gear is amazing, i havent taken it much further then 4000rpms and it is still a blast. the seats are great, i love the interior, the bose system is a little weak on bass, but nothing that bad. the exhaust sounds great. havent even really listened to music yet. i can go on and on . . .
yea it would be insane, thats why i am thinking about exhaust and CAI, but I am really cautious about making any changes to the car b/c of what i know that did to my old audi, Problems!
First thing I would like to do is put in a short shifter, i was showing my friend the car yesterday, he has a 2006 S2000, and the shifter on that car is amazing. I really think it makes the difference in sport cars. And I have heard alot about how good Mazda has been in the past with shifting, this one is a little bit to long of a throw though.

just talked to james at custom performance, he suggest that you run the BOV in recirculation mode for the time being, cause the computer accounts for that air coming back in. james said you will foul your spark plugs, also you will cause problems with the mass air sensor. he also said that they areworking ona computer program that will let you VTA without all theproblems. that is why the kit comes with both options

Thank you for that information. It's valuable indeed. Many of us see that kit and want to do it I for one would have tried it both ways and used recirculate. But no won't even attempt atmos. dump. Thanks again.
