Default Sirius Radio

I currently have Sirius Radio and use the Starmate4 reciever with a FM modulator and I find that I can't get the samevolume as you do by using the CD player or regular radio, I know it has to do with FM modulator and using channel 88.1 to recieve signal threw the radio and speakers. My question is does anyone have the Sirius Radio brain unit made by Mazda and how does it sound? If so do you get the same volume and clarity as you would by using the CD player and regular radio.

Thanks
Vince

I don't have it yet, but my friend has it in his Miataand the CD is not as loud as the Sirius, and the Clarity is awesome. My Pick up has the Kenwood in it and it is the same way. I have it plugged into the Audio Jack in mine and it is not as good as the Miata either.

That is Correct Vince, I have an 8mm plug in my center console on mine, it is on the 07's on, that is the auxiliary input, I am using that on my Starmate, but I will probable go with the unit that plugs in for the radio with mine, I like the way my F150 sounds over the Starmate

Also, on the unit bought through Mazda, you control the Sirius with the radio buttons, IMO much better.

I thought the clarity of anything on the factory radio was bad lol.

I have a Pioneer unit in mine with appropriate SIRIUS tuner for that unit. Sounds FANTASTIC compared to the factory radio.
