Ive seen this before, mostly on ppl who just thrown there weight into the shifts, but ive also seen the ppl who act like if they dont shift right it blows up. At this point im pretty convinced that the mazdas are 100% plastic

yah! hah! i dont power shift too much... its happened to a couple of people i know! they said that mazda would honor their warranty once, but i dont understand the once thing, its a safety issue... and it broke into 2 pieces where they pin goes through the shift lever.... and the only naughty things goin on in the speed are in the back seat if you know what i mean... like to use my own tool box thank you verry much! ;-)

yah its not that hard! its tough... but throw a leg up on the passenger seat and get to it!

I guess I'm just lucky to have my own house and a wife, that way I keep the seats clean in the 3.
