Default Satellite Radio install?

I've got an 05 Mazda 3 S. It is supposed to be pre-wired for Sirius. The other day, I got a Sirius Starmate. My question now, is: how do I get the receiver I have to connect to my Mazda 3's head unit?

I thin to install it, you actually have to pull the head unit and connect it in the back of the unit. i am not totally sure, since i do not have satellite radio, but i know that is what has to be done for the ipod as well. i would consult the dealer and just double check first.

Don't mistake 'satellite ready' for 'pre-wired'. The audio unit is only Sirius satellite ready but still needs to have a Receiver kit and Installation kit installed in order to use the factory button and display. The Receiver kit is $380 and Install kit $11.50. If you have purchased aftermarket then will have to rely on the installation instructions provided and will need to also use the display that should have come with the kit.
