Intending to install a reversing camera into my Mazda 3, 2015, gen 3 BM. The space is ready and waiting, and the Mazda workshop have confirmed that the head unit will display the view, just needs to be installed.
Popped the plastic camera cover off and find there is a 'liftgate garnishing bolt' under the cover. Giving that this is the location for the camera, what does the bolt hold? Is it the number plate light?
If that is the case, is buying the camera unit with light the way to go? Or just a camera , leaving the original light in place?
