I have a 2009 Mazda 3. I hit a deer (actually, it hit me) and I needed to replace the passenger door. It was an easy swap but the door ajar light stays on. After a few days of no driving, the battery goes dead. Any ideas? I used the wiring from the replacement door. It should be all the same...

 

Make sure that the switch is not damaged and sticking on or shorting to the body
