thinking about getting that Neo iON device for my ipod. i'm planning on installing myself, but i have no idea how to remove the console, or which part to remove to plug it in. is anyone familiar with doing this?

There is diagram somwhere here that shows the console and hoe to take it apart, ive seen it...our console is f**kin huge. If i fond the diagram ill post it.

that is just the stupid, the way he hooked up his ipod to the stock headunit, If i had an ipod, i would just get the kit like you said you were doing, not just soldering some wires on there, what he didnt show was the big glob of solder on that board when he is done.[:@]

Well at least it gives us how to take out your head unit in a more detailed, and colorful way.

thats true it does, but why would somebody just rig up the ipod like that, and possibly damage the headunit and then it nor be covered under warranty because you screwed it up. That is a lesson cheapness right there, if you can afford the ipod for $200, you can get the kit for $100

Thats true but that extra $100 can go a lot of other stuff like...gas, rims, intake.
