Default Re-financed

So I haven't made a single payment yet on my car and I have already re-financed it which entailed shortening it by 12 months, lowering the APR from 8.99% to 6.49%, cheaper GAP protection ($499 to $275), cheaper extended warranty ($1200 down to $488).

AND My monthly payment only went up $5/mo to do all of this.

It is saving me roughly $5800 over the life of the loan!

sound great... who did you finance with? I'm paying 7.9% if I could get lower and save a year that would be awsome

Mission Federal Credit Union...oh btw

I was originally financed with Mission Federal Credit union, went in 25 days later and re-financed with them at the better rates.

I guess I did pretty good at my credit union. I got 5.95%. I do all my banking there and have my home loan there as well. They damn sure know where I live. LOL!

That is probably why you got a low rate because it's where you do your banking(guessing), home loan, and car loan.
