Default Radio out.

2014 Mazda 3. Standard (Type A) radio.
Battery was bad. Daughter jumped incorrectly, reversed polarity. I have replaced battery. Everything works properly except the radio (entertainment system). Will not power on. I checked all fuses on the car and don’t see any that failed.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you referring Type A as the audio system without center display? There are major 4 fuses: Cabin, Room, Audio1, Audio2 and Bose if fitted. Also have you check fuses for ACC and their Relays?
You need to pull system and confirm +12V right up in the terminals if they are present most likely the system got fried, check Ebay for a replacement.
I leave the Service Manual Here

Why are you creating a new thread or are you having another issue?
What kind of audio system do you have ? Have you check for presence of 12V at pins 1R and 1B in audio system without center display? or pins 2Q 2R with display.

I will do that. Meanwhile, why is it so hard to tell me what relay/relays are involved? As to radio type, it is the unit described in the 2014 Mazda 3 manual as “Type A,” which is the one with the small display above the dash and no actual video screen.
I am a home mechanic without any electronics knowledge, so sometimes I need a little more information.
Thanks.
