Default Quick Question About Performance Parts...

When websites say that a part is only compatible with 04-06 models that doesnt mean it cant be used on the 07's right? The mazda 3 has had nothing change over the years that I am aware of, so my understanding is they tested the parts on vehicles from 04-06 and the 07's were not out yet so they had no way of confidently telling customers they work. Sorry for the long question but I want to be sure that some parts will fit before I may buy them. Thanks.

yes they will work, unless they are exterior parts.
ie, lips kits and grills for the 04-06 WILL NOT fit the 07.
however, eye lids, bodykits, and side skirts will fit any model iirc.

so any performance part, like an intake or catback, or header will fit any model. you just have to confirm the engine.
actually, i think the headers fit both engines, as well as the catbacks. but i think the intakes are different
