Post Question Regarding Mazda 3

If I buy a Mazda 3 I (sport or touring) which is typically not equipped with the navigation system like the Mazda 3 S can I buy a navigation system and have it installed? Thanks

  • No.
  • You don't want it.
We have a new Mazda3 s Grand Touring and the NAV is absolute crap compared to a relatively inexpensive top-end Garmin unit. When we travel we take our Garmin with us and stick it to the windshield just above the multi-function screen; the good news is by using the Garmin it solves two issues:
  • As mentioned above, Mazda's NAV sucks, big time.
  • The multifunction screen is poorly designed in that you can either see the radio, the trip computer, the NAV, or one of the other screens at a time; using a separate NAV unit partially solves this issue.
