what is a decent price for a mazda3 2006(automatic 5 speed), no other additions, as u guys know the 2006 comes with ABS and other features. the dealer is quoting 17300 can i go for that?

Go to Mazda's website and build it. It will give you the msrp, then you can try and talk them down, because you know they don't pay anywhere near that for them.

 

When dickering for a new car, I always offered them less than their best deal. Then left the lot and waited for them to call. I have bought 3 news cars in my life, and each time, I got it for less than their "best" deal. Of course, you do run the risk of someone else buying the car.
