How many with premium? Just one? Think you need to do at least 2 or 3 since you cannot stuff the tank like you can on diesel.

Even the OBC reported about a .75 mpg drop for the tank.

Okay. Probably true. The lower energy value cancelled any ignition advance; I guess.

Still, need to do it for 2 or 3 tankfuls because it cannot be stuffed.

I'm not sure about the computer avg mpg yet. It was totally off the 1st 2 tankfuls and is finally near where it should be the last 3.

At least there's nothing to go wrong with use of premium. Don't think it'll ever make up for the price increase. I'm just looking for something to make up for the 5-8 mpg loss from the Jetta TDI.

Ralph, just use the most expensive gas you can buy. You, your gasoline supplier and I will all be happy.
