Default Powder coated stock rims.

Has anybody had their stock rims painted or powdercoated to a darker gray or black?

If so do you have pics, and how do you like them?

Here's a PS I had dreamed about doing a few years ago. I didn't want to go too dark, so these are more of a "new cast iron" look.

I have seen in pictures a number of owners that have painted their OE wheels various colors that looked really good. But paint would not be the way to go, imo. PCing will last much longer and look better if done correctly.

Something like that color or a gloss black I would love.

What does something like that go for? $$

'Hard to say Dude! I have heard of "discount" shops that will do it for $50/, and others that charge $200+.
You would have to check in your area, or the web, but from what I know about it, get references or you may end up w/a set of sh*t instead of what you were hoping for.
Based on the TV shows I have seen on SPEED Channel and SPIKE, there seems to be a number of shops in the Tennessee area that you might search for... just a suggestion.
Best of luck if you decide to go through with it, and be sure to post the results! If you rave about them, perhaps we could get them to sign up as a sponsor here.
