These things never work and theymight end up blowing up your motor, they are as about as real as those fuel saving pills

I think it's a bunch of BS. Mazda's learn their way around modifications done to the fuel mapping. Give it a try and let us know if it works (dyno before and after.)

At this point I have to agree with SSTL, Mazda's ecu will overcome most of the chips I've seen advertised. So there's no point in an installation that would be temporary. Expect to gain about 20 hp or less without forced induction. Most of the gains with CAI, Exhaust, Voltage Stabilizer and grounding are producing about 145-150 whp TOTAL (15-20hp gain). So unless you've found something new or want to go to forced induction don't expect alot from the 3's...yet.

I dont know. Im going in for a dyno this next week and the 04 2.0 is stock at 150HP I have a CAI, Full and i mean Full custom 2.5 inch cat back exhaust (not just some bullsh*t muffler) , bypassed O2 sensor, header (I'm looking for a high flow cat. If anyone knows where to find em ((NOT universal)) hook me up lol.) and i have a good feeling im hitting 175Hp easy. I'm in the process of talking to a custom shop about boring out the TB but you have to have a stand alone FM for that. I can get the stand alone from A'pexi for $220 and I can have it bored for $350 =$570 for around 200-210HP

HIboost makes a great turbo kit that puts you at 245HP @ 8psi for $3500+ , but I'm 19 and going to college and working on a college budget. I dont know about you but I can sacrifice 35HP for the $3000 cost differance thats a bigger rip off than thoes performance chips. Sitting at 210HP with a car that weighs, what? like 2300lbs curb weight thats enough to take on decent sizes v6's and other ricer kids around here. Sorry guys, but I'm not going to crap out on a trubo. I'm going to make something all engine so that way when i pop my hood and show a dumb**** how he got his *** kicked by a N/A 4 banger. I'm just going to tell them theres more than what meets the eye.

My problem is I just wish there could be some way to tune the compy besides a stand alone, or someway you and out the cam gears or the cam. Cosworth i think has something but I don't know how well thoes work.

thats 150hp to the crank for 2.3L's....2.0L's are less. Maybe......you will maybe get 150whp out of your set up to the wheels.

A stock 2.0L should dyno at 119-120whp....I dynoed 129whp 130tq with my 2.0L witha K&N Typhoon CAIlast year..

Stats for the 2.0 is 150hp, 135tq at crank your only be putting down like 140hp and 128tq at the wheels and even less if you have a auto, a CAI of any brand is gonna net you at most 5 to 6hp and3 to 4tq a full 2.5in exhaust w/o a high flow cat will net you atleast6 to 8hp and4 to 6tq and with a high flow cat8 to 10hpand6 to 8tq. So lets review with all this your looking at having 159-164hp and 141-146tqto the wheels. Now lets get to your bored out tb the highest ive heard was 67mm and it was a on a turbo one...guy said he didnt really notice a diff and it net him like 3 to 4 hp and 1 to 2tq, there is no and may never be cams or cam gears, the ones from cosworth are for non vtt motors...sure they might will fit...but they wont work. Oh and as for bypassing that 02 sensor...it dont work unless you flash the ecu...but that wont do any good. Oh and your headers are getting you about8 to 10 and 9 to 10tq so now have like what 167whp and 160tq somethin. 2300lbs...what do you think you are...a honda the manuals weight is 2685 and even more in some states, youd be lucky to hang with a heavy *** 3.0 car. A N/A 3 is slow...and always will be unless you addN20 but then your not N/A. And not to mention the bs speed limiter, and dont even try to race anybody from a dig the etb takes all the fun and most of the tq outta that. Its worth saving up for the turbo and stuff...im also a college student but im still gonna turbo my car, its not worth to spend your money on making a slow car somewhat faster, just save your money for the turbo...trust me you will be alot happier.
