Default Parking Lights (2012): Changing and Purchasing

Hello all. Haven't had to start a thread in a long time so that's a good thing. I have come seeking some thoughts and answers. I had a standard, dual filament parking light go out on me (kind of) about a month ago. The blinker still works just not the light itself when I try to turn it on.

I opened to hood to get a little perspective on what would be needed to change this. Coming from someone who's cartarded, it looks fairly simple. I have changed headlights on my Accord that I used to have on numerous occasions. Looks fairly similar.

Here are my concerns:

1) Is there any gotchas to this and should I have a professional do it?
2) Where can I find the exact part number? I don't want to buy the wrong thing and I'm assuming a dealership will probably charge 4x as much as Amazon would.
3) Does it still HAVE to be dual filament or would another option work? For Example Click Me to See What I'm Talking About

I scoured the World Wide Web and couldn't really find much on this and I hate starting duplicate threads so I even checked here. Not much luck. If one exists, point me in the right direction and lock this bad boy up.

I appreciate all info. Thanks!!

You can find out what your light bulb types are at a number of auto motive store fronts, and even phillips lighting solutions. You can choose to go with an led opton, the led option will still be marked the same light type. For instance my headlights are H11... that could be H11 incandescent, H11 LED, or H11 HID.

This is good info, thank you! Upon opening my hood again, this doesn't look like it'll be an easy task and I might take it somewhere to do it. I will continue searching to find what I need.

Definitely appreciate it!
