Hi, I just bought a 05 3s 5-door. The outside temp display is not working. The car does not have automatic climate control, but neither did other '05's that I test drove and I swear the outside temp display worked. Am I mistaken, or is ther a way to shut it on and off? The car didn't come with an owners manual. Any help is great, thanks.

Where are you located? In the US Mazda didn't offer the ambient temp. display until 2006, so the right side of the LCD is just blank. Occasionally owners have mentioned that their LCD started showing "_ _ _" on the right hand side. I believe that someone hooked up the temp sensor and it then worked, however I don't know if this is something the dealer can just turn on.

I solved the problem by just buying the auto-dim mirror with temp/compass on it.
