i'm very opinionated about what people do to their cars. i either like it, or i dont like it - its not so much that the wheels are chrome (although i typically hate chrome wheels on anything) its just the style of the wheel doesn't appeal to me - i'm more conservative / into performance looking rims...like BBS and stuff. i know, boring.

 

In spite of the fact that I think we lost the OP, and that in general we are not chrome wheel people, I STILL think they look OK. True that I too like painted/powder-coated wheels better and would not like to have to care for chrome wheels, but if he likes them and is willing to take on the responsibility to care for them so be it!!
I could, and have seen worse styles on the 3 series than these... by far!!
If I got offered a deal on these, even I might've considered them.
Are they worse than the factory Speed3 wheels? I hate those, and wondered what Mazda was thinking when they decided to use that style on such a hot hatch.

Obviously a good controversial subject that needed to come out. I know from other forums on the subject though that most feel chrome wheels are Excursion/Escalade/Yukon/Hummer territory... and generally I agree too.
