Exclamation OEM iPod Integration Part Numbers??

I just purchased the iPod integration kit from http://www.mazdagear.com. They sent me the following parts:
  • BBM2-79-CFZ
  • C9FD-V6-029
I started to read through the installation manuals and found it had two options for harnesses, the C9FD that I purchased and a C9FC that requires tapping 4 wires into the factory harnesses on top of the basic plug and play install. I called both the seller and the local Mazda dealer, but both only listed the part I received as being for the Mazda3 and said the C9FC was for the CX-7.
I was hoping someone on here could confirm that the C9FD is the right part number? I want my display to show like leno61's pictures I am reposting here for reference:

The part numbers I received from Jason at onlinemazdaparts are

Ipod Module P/N C29179CFZ ~$113.60
Install w/ sirius P/N C9F4V6029 ~$86.40
Install w/o sirius P/N C9F1V6029 ~$86.40

The presence of sirius or not sirius is the difference between the two harnesses, not tapping into the CAN BUS wires. All of the '08.5+ model ipod modules tap into those wires to display on the LCD. It's possible that the part number has been updated since I last updated my audio input thread, but to be sure I'd drop Jason an e-mail. He's generally really prompt and should be able to look up the correct numbers and any numbers that have been superceded by other numbers easily. His e-mail is mazdapart@gmail.com

^^ Probably. lol

I'd still drop Jason an e-mail and have him double check the numbers for you.

This chart tells you exactly which iPod Integration part numbers you need for which Mazdas:

According to it, you've got the right parts for a 2010 Mazda 3. (The 2010 year cars use different part numbers from all previous years.)

By the way, the install for the 2010 does not require you to remove the gauge cluster and tap those two wires, but it does require you to remove the center console to access the 4-wire plug to power the iPod Integration Module. (You can't even see where that plug is until you pull the console.)
