You guys are kidding me right? Exhaust, Short shifter, will improve mileage? Well probably, not from my experience. Think straight here, More power Better Mileage?? sounds somewhat wrong to me. Exhaust will only give a good sound, 1-2 hp gain, Intake max 3-7 hp. Lowering, sway, strut and tie bars, will improve the handling and and very good for aerodynamics. Less negative force, better aerodynamic, less gas used, better mileage. On the other hand, short shifter should work too, but i do not know, the faster you shift at lower RPM's better mileage you will get.
BUT, i have to agree with Power and Handling; Injen intake, Lowering, Sway, Motor oil and filter, Exhaust, Lighter wheels and lower profile rubber (good for handling and improve hp at your wheels), Get rid of all the plastic covers under the hood, and if you wanna do some wight reduction upgrade, remove, everything from your trunk (spare tire, jumper cables, jack, rear seat head rests, floor mats, and so on whatever you find no need to carry in your car). Hope i somewhat helped.
