And you had better watch out GM991, some 4 doors do have the 2.3 in them [8D]

Plus the base model tells you what mazda was thinkingabout the sedan2.0 148 MP (mouse power) motor......LOL

The M3 sedan looks like the Camry?I don't see the Camry resemblance, they are a completely different in size, but I'll agree the M3 has been copied (or copied others) to the point that it is not outrageously unique anymore. Such is the landscape of auto design these days. From the side, it looks very compact four door BMW-ish, as others have noted in previous threads.
Take a look at theImpreza WRX (5-dr), Vibe, Matrix (for 2009)and Saturn Astra 5-dr.... see more than a slight resemblance to something parked in your driveway?
We're all fortunate and smart to drive Mazdas.
