On the '07, both audio jack and 12V accessory socket are inside the console bin, so nothing hangs out of the armrest.

Of course the iPOd has to be out of the arm rest. How are you supposed to pickthe song you want to play, eat lunch, talk on the cell phone, and drink your beer???

So, PAC, I take it you're just not a multitasking kinda guy? You didn't even mention shaving or brushing your teeth...

Maybe your console is different. The '07 has a double lid, with a shallow upper compartment under the armrest for the iPod. There's a port for the cable to pass into the lower bin, where the jack is.

I can't hold a candle to someofthe multi-taskers I see on the road. I have to assume they musthave spent a fortune on the latest futuristic auto-pilot device for cars.

LC, My arm rest is the same with the little ports, but since I am just using the iPod audio cable, I have the iPod out to where I can at least turn it on or off.

Why would you want to upgrade performance on a leased vehicle?!?! It's not yours so you would have to remove it without any trace unless you are planning on buying after leasing with is even more stupid.

Just look around, I am sure there are parts somewhere.
