Default New Guy Of Course with a Question!

Hello all! Looking to buy a used 3s hatchback for my wife. It is a 2004 with leather. 42,000 miles from a dealer that I know. Price is $14,300, but has been on the Jeep dealer's lot for awhile and I think the price is negotiable.Car appears to be in excellent condition. Any real problems with the 2004 3's? I would normally not even look at getting an extended warranty, but not real familiar with what problems could arise on this car. Thanks for any and all help!

I have a question. I am looking to purchase a 2005 Mazda 3 in the very near future. Many of the 3's that I find on the net in my area comes with the automatic/ Stick transmission. My question is, does all or most of the 2005 Mazda 3's come with this type of transmission?

hmmm..interesting.nice of u to post that....

the only problem I had with my 2004 mazda3s- hatch was the wipers-I blame ford but not a big deal-also, I think the paint chipped easy on it compared to other cars we owned too- mazda did send me touch up when I got the car..

I'm not sure of the numbers of ATX vs. MTX cars that are produced, but I imagine that has to do greatly with what country the car is in. I'd imagine that there are more ATX cars shipped to the US than MTX.

If you look you should be able to find a MTX with the options you want without too much difficulty.

As to the chipping paint, most cars have that problem as they've been using paint that's more EPA friendly and as a result chips more easily.

All of the ATX transmissions have the shift feature (I believe that is what was being asked) Most cars in the US are Autos.
