Oh ya, last weekend i helped my GF to get her windows tinted, think 20% in the back and 35% in both front would be better, little bit lighter but better visibility threw side mirrors at night.

 

that's not true... i know local police officers and state troopers in a few states... and they are allowed to pull you over if your tint is too dark. even if you didn't violate another law.

 

so Patrick G.: what kind of tinting did you end up getting on your 3i?

Well I have 35% all the way around only because 30% is the legal limit in NY and state troopers and sheriffs are super strict about tint. If you live in an area where the cops won't be much of a factor then I would go with 20% all the way around. Just take into concideration the darker you go, the harder it will be to see out of at night.

 

i am in AZ and the legal limit in front is 35% and the rear is 20%, that is what I have done on my car and since my car is titanium grey, the tint looks nice, can hardly tell the difference in tint, especially at night.
