Default Need Suggestions

Hi, I previously owned golf, but sold it recently. Was looking for a new gti, but also had eye on mazda3 and civic si (love to get imprenza hatchback but out of budget). Came across few on craiglist. These particular two I liked and intend to check out. 1) 2007 i Touring Sedan, everything base apart from bose music system I believe with 45k miles automatic for around $10500 2) 2006 s Grand Touring Sedan, has everything apart from navigation, 61k miles 5 speed manual for around $10000 I have always owned manual transmission, but don't mind trying out automatics too. I am new to mazda, I presume its reliability is better the vw's but equally fun to drive. Are there any particular things I should watch out for and which one of two you would suggest I go with, or should look for other options. Thanks, Jay

Sport is the base model. Touring is mid and Grand Touring the higher. The i is the smaller engine of the two. The cars you have scoped out are a bit different plus the transmission. If you like the manual, go with that one. If it's time to move to an auto, go with that one.

I would get service records especially on the transmission and cabin filter.
