This should be an easy one... In my previous car I installed a new stereo with a USP port built in. Easy way for me to listen to my podcasts, just download onto a thumb drive and plug it into the USB port. I just bought a 07 Madza 3 and it had no USB port, only a 3.5mm audio input jack. I'm not really interested in an ipod, really just want the simplest way to plug in something to play my daily downloads. Thoughts anyone? I have an old MP3 player, but it uses a USP to USB to download. Can i just get a USB to 3.5mm cold and plug it in? Thanks

 

check into the grom usb module. Provides a 3.5 mm input as well as a USB port. Just plugs into the back of the HU.
