Default Mexican VS Japan Built

Hello everyone, new to the forum as I just recently got a 2017 Mazda 3 this year.

My radiator is leaking coolant where the lower line connects, and the fans stopped working. I was wondering, since my car is Mexico built, do Japan built radiators fit Mexico built vehicles? Feel like it could be a pretty stupid question but I'm desperate to get this car running ASAP and there's one at a junkyard close by a friend can take me to.

There are specific OEM as well aftermarket different parts numbers as you have already likely seen. So that should answer your question?

We have had both in the shop and do not interchange p[arts based on model but VIN and the part numbers that go by exact application and VIN.

I would also be very wary of some suppliers that state will fit multiple application when a other more top brand and the OEM do not.

Hey there, I recently replaced my cooling fans. I bought them in rockauto.com $140. AutoZone etc is 400+.Of course quality is lower being so cheap but It got me through.

I just user my model, not the bin just fyi. The web page looks like the early 2000s but they are good and ship part pretty fast, 2 to 3 days.

hope that helps.

Unless you look into the brand name and find out what company actually makes them your statement is not really accurate or fair to auto part retailers.

I might add NEVER NEVER use any application guide unless it is from the manufacture. Often some aftermarket part companies will do some universal additions to their part so it can somewhat fit a wider application then a direct OEM and manufactured listed part. So maybe be a little more educated when you buy parts and especially making a somewhat negative statement about the quality of parts with no real prof ?
