Default Mazda3 CAI

I have a 2008 Mazda3 2.3L. I want to put a CAI, although i already have a turbo in it. Is it safe to put a CAI in it? will i have to made any adjustments to any other part of the car, like the exhaust system?

this "turbokit" you have should have a section of piping with a filter on the end of it, a cai for a N/A motor is WAY different than one for a turboed one

IntakeTHIS: There are only two prebuilt kits and they both run for 4k your not gonna find one cheaper, if you know what your doing piece one together its cheaper.

csmova: I think this guy is pulling your leg, you would know if you had a turbo, look at the back of the motor if you see something that looks like a snail then you have a turbo, if there is nothing back there then you dont have one

alright yeah i agree. so putting a CAI in wont do anything? cause my friend got one and it made the 'check engine' light come on. i assume this is from the extra air coming in, is there anyway to make it so the car doesnt see it as a problem?
