Mazda3 2008 2.0 no codes, open loop
Hello, first time poster hope this is the correct way of posting.
I have a mazda3 2008 2.0 MT. It has a AEM intake that reaches almost to the ground, and i have both cat delete, i have the coolent throttle body bypass, and the throttle body ground... One day i was driving and went over a puddle and the intake cone got wet, it didn't suck too much water, i turned the car off and unhooked the C.A.I to let it dry... short after it started throwing P2006 code (tumble valves stuck closed)... so i replaced the runner solinoides that trigger that code, i did that 2 times. Now it has no codes unless you try to trigger it with a scanner, and the car is stuck in open Loop... the car now has trouble accelerating between 4000 and 5500rpm... if you unplugg the intake runner control solinoides the car runs exactly the same way, if you plugg in a scanner it tells you the car is in open loop due to insuficient temperature, fans stay on for 5 minutes usually after i turn the car off, i live in Cancun (90F weather) so it isn't a cold weather issue... i already replaced the thermostat and coolent temp sensor and the vacume lines. Any suggestions? I've consulted multiple people and no one knows... since the runner control solinoides work with the ecu when it can reach temperature, it makes for a confusing diagnosis.
