It has some features of the other concepts and I don't like those thin sweepy fins and openings.

I like the new 3 rear, the front headlights is not particular something I m very fond of, but it can grow on me. Overall, I probably still would like to get my hands on one.

 

Nice! Not a fan of the rear. Reminds me of an Evo. Not a fan of the interior either. Reminds me of the Civic interior, sort of. Neither cars I'm a huge fan of in regards to those designs. I like the front though.

I'm happy with my 2008.

Now the car I've been going GA GA over all day is the new 2010 Mustang, bwahahahaha... I'll save the joy of that one for a different forum though.

 

Yea I m not a big fan of the interior either, too much Civic like and I don't like Civic either. But, I really don't see the similarity of the rear to the Evo at all, not sure how you see that??? Is quite a big difference, Evo rear look more like the current Lexus IS (angry and kind of pissed off look) a lot thinner tail light. This new 2010 3 tail light look more like fludic flow influenced by Mazda concept cars design. Also lookkind of like apair of wing stretched out flying. And the front looks likea big happy smile, suitMazda fun to drive = happy theme fairly well I think...lol!

 

okay maybe i was looking at it weird. i took another look at the two cars again, and yeah... maybe i looked at a weird angle or something and thought the rear of the mazda and the rear of the evo were similar lol.

now that i look at the rear again i like it a little better than my original opinion but still not too crazy about it. and once i got a better look at the front i saw that huge smiley face. not a fan.

like I said Ive been going nuts over the new Mustang design myself, lol. Im a Mustang guy at heart... my Mazda 3 is mainly just a DD. No worries, Ive done a little bit to it, lol. My stereo is aftermarket, and I have redline boots installed

 

I have to agree with you, knucklehead. Of this model 3 or the new Mustang, on esthetics alone I would go for the Mustang.

Well I got the opportunity to check out 2010 Mazda3 in LA auto show in person over Thanksgiving holiday. They even had one sitting around where you can go inside and check out everything. The interior quality seems similar to the current one, but there is this really weird super tiny screen for Navigation that look like a 2 tier screen from Civic. Seriously, what the heck is Mazda thinking making a Navigation with that small of a screen. I have to say I m actually not that fond of the new 3 interior. The size look about the same as the current 3, didn't seem to grow in size, which is a good thing, since it is a compact car after all. Exterior wise, unlikeyou guysI actually like it a lot, personal taste I guess. I like the new 3 exterior than the current one. Well, have to wait till it comes out next 2009 Spring to find out the driving experience before I can make a final decision if I would buy it or not. Either way, not in the market of a car for now unless my Mazda die on me. So might be just checking it out for me only...lol!
