nevermind i found it and i see that it says 274 hp thats kinda messed up when the mazda site giving to diffrent numbers for the hp

 

just picked up the October issue of Sport Compact Car magazine...Mazdaspeed3 on the cover...text reads "263hp, 280 bl-ft, 0~60 under 6sec"

I guess that settles it...263hp!?

Mazdaspeed is only making the model 3 for the year 2007. So if you read that they are only making 5,000, thats the grand total for only 2007.

I asked my local mazda dealer when they are to receive the first shipment of mazdaspeed 3's and I was told the middle of October 2006.

 

i wish they would make more thats not alot of cars

 

I very confident they will go for 2 years of production. I won't say why.

 

you know something well if they are going for 2 years i will get one bc in in college and have very little money

I want to trade in my 6s for either a speed6 or speed 3...can't decide yet.

 

It is my understanding the the 263 hp is the "Japanese" horsepower rating, and that 250 is the USA rating standard.
