Mazda 3 Shifter Problem!
Hi,
I have an Automatic, 2005 Mazda 3. Somehow the shifter got stuck in the sport shift mode. It wont go over to regular D or N or P. The shift indicator on the dash says that it is in Neutral, the shifter is in Drive and it feels like it is in Park because when I give it gas it doesn't move it just rpm's. The car starts just fine but it is stuck in D so the key wont come out or anything like that. I was hoping you could give me some quick ideas as to what it might be because I cant drive it anywhere and I'm really trying to avoid getting it towed being a semi-broke college student.

Hi Keoni,
I'm sorry but have never heard of this problem?
This may sound stupid but have you removed the shift **** and pulled up the console center to see if there is something amiss or stuck in there?
