Hey Guyz,

I am new to this forum.. read through some of the threads and I haven't seen anyone talk about this.

I have a rattling/grinding noise which pops up intermittently. It sounds as though it is comming
from the passenger seat.. the noise sounds more ike a grind.. and is very evident when someone
is sitting on the passenger side.
Of course.. when I took it to Mazda.. they asked me to show them.. and it didn't make the noise. But.. low and
behold.. 2 days later it started making it again.
I could swear its the seat itself.. and possible the way its installed in the car.. but i don't have the know how to take it off.

Any Thoughts? Are the seats easily removable? Or is a stupid thread =]
Does anyone else have problems with rattles? Grinding?

Are u sure this grinding sound isnt coming from your tranny? possibly brake pads?(thats more screeching tho) is it a 5spd?

Umm, well, if ur postiive its coming from the passenger seat. then im not too sure

any others got any ideas?? im not sure dude.

and yes, the seats are fairly easy to remove. try searching for some VFAQ to make things easier on you tho
