Default Mazda 3 paint problem

I own a 2004 3 sport and i cant beleive the amount of rock chips i am getting. I have owned multiple cars from toyotas and chevys. I even had a pontiac sunfire with over 200,000 Ks on it and it wasnt this bad . I remember reading somewhere that the paint jobs from the factory are very thin. Have they fixed this problem for the 05 models. Anyone else experiencing this ?? I have a mazda car bra but it doesnt help much they are on the hood and even on the roof.

i have a nonner that is the same way...it is moreso due to the stance of the car being so low....it sucks, but there isnt much that you can do about it.

Have you heard of a product called Rockblocker?

Works fine for me, and it has kits that fit most of the leading edge surfaces, and provides great protection.
