I have a 2010 Mazda 3i with sunroof and it is leaking very badly on the passenger side, so bad that it fried my amp under the seat.

I recently had the heater core replaced and front speakers, but other than that there has been no work done to the car besides regular maintenance.

That being said, what is causing this leak? I below are some pictures of the leakage. thanks!

Wow that is some heavy leakage I am guessing you checked to see if the moonroof is closing correctly? Is the weather stripping around the glass in good shape any tears or anything in it? I would take it into the dealership it has to be covered under warranty unless you are past your mileage. Anyways keep us posted on what you find as a lot of us have that option.

 

That's the problem, i am 1500 over on warranty, but i have had the car only 1 year, 2 months. I might have to call Mazda NA and raise some hell if they dont cover this sort of thing.

All weatherstripping is intact. I called the dealer and they said if the moonroof gutter is clogged i wont be covered. Does anyone know how to check that?
