Don't mess around with airbags. They can kill you if you muck around.

What modifications are you attempting?

 

I understand that such modifications, however necessary they may be, are potentially dangerous in the wrong hands. This is why I'm trying to find PRECISE measurements before attempting anything, to mitigate any potential safety risks.

 

Dont muck around with airbags. Leave them alone. There are legal ramifications if you fiddle with them.
