Default Mazda 3 2008 Bose headunit problem

Hi, I have a Mazda 3 2008 and the Bose headunit on it is pretty much dead, comes on with the radio stations when I hit the button about 10 times but no sound, no cd, volume turns up and down when it does come on. I’ve tried changing both fuses to no avail, any help would be appreciated as I’ve been googling it for weeks and no one has exactly the same problem as mine and I don’t want to buy a head unit to find out it’s an amp or sub,

thank you, new to this forum

Possibly the BOSE amp has died.

Time for a aftermarket stereo and facia.
