Default Mazda 3 2006 1.6 - Radiator Cap

Hi there,

I need to replace my radiator cap, on the label it says "100kpa 14.5 Psi" but I've been unable to find that model. The only one I find is "145kpa 21 Psi". Do you guys know if this would make any difference?

Cheers

Why not buy the correct cap from the dealership?

I wouldn't run a 21psi radiator cap on a system designed for 14.5psi pressure.

My 2006 Mazda3 i sedan has the 2.0 L motor and the 3 s came with the 2.5 L motor.(US)
You obviously have a smaller engine for your region I guess and yes you should check with the dealer and at least see if you bought one from them would it be rated 14.5 psi.
