Just wondering if anyone knows how many km's can you go when you get this warning light??? thx guys

 

2007 2.0. I am wondering the same thing. I drove 600kms and was only able to squeeze 40 lts in the tank. Needle was in between empty and 1/4. No light though. Good question.

 

yeah me and my bro bought a new 2007 mazda3 gt and we were wondering this for awhile!! haha

 

Mine generally comes on with about 3 gallons left. Obviously the distance you can go on it is going to greatly depend on your driving style and gas mileage.

the one time when i did all highway driving on 2 tanks of gas, it came on at 50km's remaining.
but in the city, it comes on at 35ish km's left

 

I'vedchecked mine twice to see but I normally fill up at a 1/4 of a tank. Both times it came on, I put in 11.6 and 11.7 gallons, so I had a little less than 2.4 gallons left. When filling up at a 1/4 of a tank, I usually put in about 10 gallons.

Mine has been tested several times also and thatwhat Ifound it to be too.

 

as i figured from driving a 04 EL to the mazda 3 i find the results are the exact same. mine comes on at say 40 kms left. and how do i know. i have a trip computero n the mazda 3 and i did tests when i owned the 04 EL

Well i will tell you later today. My light came on On the way to work this morning. drove another 12-15 miles and will fill up at lunch or after work. seehow many gallons it takes. what is the tank capacity? 14 or 14.5
