Default locating dome light switch on 2006 mazda 3 hatch

I'm trying to locate to dome light button on the driver side door on a 2006 mazda 3 hatchback to program a keyless remote for it. Maybe I am just blind, but I can't find it.

I'm confused. You're trying to find a light switch to program a remote for it?

What exactly are you doing?

The door switch is located on the latch assembly itself inside the door. Just close and open the door three times instead of pushing the switch

In order to program remotes into the car's computer you have to open the door several times. I didn't realize the purpose of that was turning the lights on/off, but I suppose that makes sense.
