Intermittent warning lights(TPMS) but only when driving 600 yds0 yards then goes o
The warning lights come on TPMS after starting car and driving say 600 yds when it goes off , but comes back on after further 600yds . The RESET button used to control this until recently but now I can only remove warning by depressing INFO button on steering wheel. (mazda 3 1916 model) The rest button does not respond at all now. . Had new front tyres fitted to try to overcome this and still no joy even though I had the tyre pressures checked THREE times by garage, Could it be a faulty sensor??? ...... Waiting times for Mazda garage several WEEKS !!!!!!
Any help PLEASE JS
Tyre mechanic carried out his assessment (using diagnostic box????)whereby he said that he cleared the computer setting so should be OK, but no joy at all.

1# Need a better mechanic, look for an automotive certified technician? All that guy did was reset the TPMS nothing more. No diagnostic work to find the problem.
2# You have either a sensor issue or the ECU or the communication information between the ECU with the TPMS sensors. This requires a little advance diagnostic training to know how to find which is the cause of the problem. In this case you may be better advised to go to a MAZDA dealership service department and have them at least find the cause. It may be as simple as "flashing" or getting a more current ECU program passed through . But then again it may be a failing ECU or a simple bad TPMS sensor or connector?
