Mazda does a good job of having a majority of the wiring in-place in the vehicle for the factory accessories you can add to your vehicle.

I installed a spoiler with 3rd brake light on my friend's 6 and the harness was hidden underneath the trunk lid liner. No wires to run at all for the installation, just drill the holes, plug it in and go.....

I just wish they would have left the radios alone so that in my 2009 MS3 I could see my MPG.

I have a manual transmissionand the only two parts needed are the brake swich and the steeringwheel buttons...Ican confirm that no clutch switch is needed

Does it disengage when you hit the clutch? Just wondering becaue mine does [8D]

I had never tried the clutch prior to seeing the last post but I went out and tested it...yes the clutch definately disengages the cruise control

Sorry...late but..

The controls were put on the steering wheel and probably as they would have been from the factory.
