If anyone wants to see a 3s w/o moldings
Well here is a picture of my 3s. If anyone wants to see the car w/o theside moldings and the tape off the sides of the window and a 2.5' stubby.

Hey.. one question...
When you took the black tape off the doors... how did you do that? take the black off only.. and it was painted underneath or did you take them off and then paint , or just paint them all together?
I like the side moldings off! I was thinking about that .. and taking off the "mazda" emblem on the back and just leave the "3" on... i know you do that with floss..
how do you take off the side door mouldings?
Also..**I am scared that taking off the side mouldings may make more door dings possible? (i already have some that were on the car before i got it!)

I just took off the black tape and its already painted underneath. Its a little bit of a pain in the butt but I think its worth it. I just started peeling it off little by little. If you do it all in one piece its easier but it tends to break and it gets harder. I like it alot better.
The moldings you can just pull off I did it just like that but I did hear you can take floss and do it. About it creating more dings, in reality the door moldings dont protect much. They are so thin. Thats just my take on it.

I did the same to mine, except remove the door moldings. Saw the car without them and didn't like it so I had them put back on. Its easier to remove the black tape if the car has been out in the sun for a while.

Thanks for the instructions on the taking off of the moldings!
Another question... does it look strange IN PERSON with the door tape off? Like the thickness that is gone without the tape on the tops of the doors compared to the rest of the door?

Everybody compliments it and has done the same thing. I honestly think it looks alot better w/o it. I do not find much of a difference in thickness.

ouch...i just finished taking the black tape off of the driver's side door...my finger tips are blistering up...but it looks good and was worth it...ill just have to do a little more each day.
i also took the side moldings off my car about a month after i got it...i think it looks a whole lot better that way.
